The Yamaha RVO Regular Superior Valve Oil is bases on a newly developed synthetic formula that is more consistent than mineral-based oil to provide superior performance in all playing environments. The RVO Regular Oil is made up of even-sized molecules to allow the oil to evaporate smoothly, guaranteeing a longer life with extremely responsive action. The Regular Superior Oil is designed for instruments with standard valve tolerances, such as student trumpets and is the same oil included with all Yamaha Student Series Instruments. The Yamaha RVO Regular Superior Valve Oil is available in a 1.28 ounce plastic bottle.

The Yamaha synthetic Superior Valve Oil, available in Super Light (YAC SVOX), Light (YAC LVOX), Regular (YAC RVOX) and Vintage (YAC VVOX) viscosities.

Yamaha synthetic valve oil is more consistent than traditional petroleum based oils, giving it better stability in different temperatures.  Super Light
This low-viscosity oil is ideal for playing fast passages in ad-lib solos, for example. Also recommended for piccolo trumpet and other horns designed for high-register playing.

Light Viscosity
This oil is for instruments with very precise valve tolerances such as Yamahas professional models, the Z series , the Xeno series ,and the Xeno Artist models. It is especially suited for players with very fast fingers.

Regular Viscosity
The perfect weight oil for all around use in any piston valves. It provides a light , quick touch with smooth long lasting action. This grade oil will work with all piston valve instruments.

Vintage Viscosity
A thicker oil for older instruments with looser valves to give smooth long lasting action. It is also ideal for instruments with larger valve pistons such as tubas and euphoniums.
